SOFTPLAY S.R.L. (“SOFTPLAY”, “we”, “us”) is a game development and publishing company registered in Romania, publishing primarily on Xbox.

This policy explains our privacy practices concerning our games, website and communications.
2. Our games
SOFTPLAY does not independently collect personal data from players through its games. We do not add independent advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools to our games.
Our games use functionality provided by the platforms on which they are distributed, principally Microsoft Xbox. The platform’s processing is described below.
3. Microsoft and other platforms
Microsoft processes information in connection with Xbox accounts, purchases, platform features and diagnostics. Depending on the services used, this can include account identifiers, achievements, gameplay information and technical information.
Microsoft’s processing is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can manage relevant choices through your Microsoft account and Xbox privacy settings.
Where our games are distributed through another platform, that platform’s privacy policy applies to its own processing.
4. Contacting us
If you email help@softplay.gg, we receive your email address, any name you provide and the information included in your message. We use this information to respond, provide support and resolve your enquiry.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and providing support, or performance of a contract where the request concerns a contractual obligation.
Providing this information is voluntary, but we may be unable to resolve your request without relevant details. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
We retain correspondence while handling your request and any related follow-up. After the matter is closed and follow-up is complete, we delete it unless retention is required by law or necessary for an ongoing legal claim.
5. Website hosting
Our website is hosted using Tilda. Hosting and security services can process technical information, including IP addresses and necessary security cookies, to deliver the website and protect it against abuse.
Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning, secure website.

6. Sharing and security
We do not sell personal data or use support correspondence for targeted advertising.
Personal data is accessible only to authorised personnel and service providers where necessary for website hosting, email delivery and handling enquiries. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information we handle.
7. Children
Our games are not directed at children. We do not independently collect personal data from children through our games.
Parents or guardians with concerns about information sent directly to SOFTPLAY can contact help@softplay.gg. Questions about Microsoft’s processing of a child’s Xbox account should also be directed to Microsoft.
8. Your rights
Where applicable under data protection law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, restriction of processing or data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Send requests to help@softplay.gg. We normally respond within one month. If a lawful extension is needed, we explain it within that first month.
You may complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) through its complaints page, or to another competent supervisory authority.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The current version and its update date will appear on this page.
